Future of our Server

Since TC is finally near death, I find it pointless to continue paying for a server for a dead community. TC basically only compromises of "reject" clans inhabiting and spamming the public servers now and the only enjoyable aspects are playing in the league or with fellow clan mates.

Since a lot of us play TCE, I was wondering if a move to a TCE server after our next renewal (in July) would be good.

With TCE getting CTF, I personally think it's probably the best alternative for us.

What do YOU think? (I already know what Lost thinks lol)

P.S. We will still have access to the German TCL servers for DR clan use in TC most likely.

Sounds cool to me. I guess I gotta download and actually play TC:E now huh? But yea TC is dead, UBER DEAD! There's no point in having a server in TC when no one ever plays on it. Bring on TC:E...i guess Razz

i'd never get into tc:e as i got into tc according to me tc:e = teh craptor i mean have you ever played ?

feels like your guy consists out of jello

it's never gonna be tc not even with ctf

giving the server to tc:e might be ok but i won't play it i think

tc has always been a low count played game cause it's not as easy as all the other craptor games out there

TCE doesn't have that jello feeling anymore. A lot of stuff has changed since the beginning. And in .49 scale issues were fixed, so the "feel" is better. It still has a ways to go still before it's polished IMO - but its a lot improved since the earlier builds.

If Coroner holds true to his word regarding the CTF, it will basically be like .45 (after it's completed) - which is better than 1.x in my opinion.

And TC is dying. A lot of people say this since they are newer and don't know how it's been in the past - but it actually is dying for real now. Never before have I seen such low activity with clans since I've been here almost 4 years.

Paying $109 for a server in a community that mainly consists of people like MENTAL is a waste of money imo. It's like buying a refrigerator to store cat and dog poo. Bad analogy, but you get the idea.

Yea I think moving the server to TC:E is a good move, rejecting TC at all as a bad move still tho.

if we're actutall gonna compete in tce then a server would be great.
now the big question is are we gonna have a team for tce?

a lot of ppl are of pushers mentality of it sucks or its just not the same as tc. This will always be true. So if we dont have enough interest, then save the money Lost!

just remember ppl, when u first play tce... u're gonna suck at it. the learning curve is different. in objective u need to be patient, cuz when u die, u dont respawn. after your 2nd 3 sec game, u're gonna absolutly HATE this game. Dont compare it to tc. its not. in .49 ctf will make its debut, but again, its not tc, it will have a different feel. also the community is full of idiots. many many more idiots then tc. tc ppl r arrogant and hard nosed. tc:e ppl are IDIOTs, soft skinned (OMG! u filed a complaint on me! WHY!??? WHY!!??? I SAID I WAS SORRY) and very 12 year old like. Even ppl in respected clans are stoopid, and dont understand how to admin a server properly.

If u're gonna try the other mode in tce, i don't even remember wats it called, but u respawn when u die. its not tc. u respawn try to kill ppl, but there isnt any real objective. so for me, it gets rather silly running around or camping without any 'prize' in the end.

the only reason i play tc:e is becuase i play in windowed mode, but with the resolution to max my screen out. Because i play this way, the windows key on the keyboard works, and i can surf the net, or watch tv when i die. also i like that fact i cant take a break when i die and EAT! EAT & EAT!

sooo. dont renew, save the money, if we get competitive, lets all help out on a server. its great that we may have access to the german server for tc.

I'll play ctf and shit, but playing a game where when you die, you don't come back to life is gay, i mean what's so realistic about that? Very Happy

i actually really like tce, altho i havnt played much recently objective is really cool. and im sure ctf will b fun too.

On a side note, I had to renew the server because I extended the TCUCL schedule. We'll have it on Q3 until October.

If you want rcon, just ask targay or dildor. Please no abusing it though, I don't want to be known as SAS jr. Razz

i dont think tf exited at that time.
and i was talking about the BIM server(I think), where the admins were allowing a namefaker to impersonate me, tk his side, then get me kicked. and when they found out who it was, they didnt do anything about it.
i took it in all good fun, after i laughed and said DUMB DUMB DUMB, HOLY FUCK DUMB!

but i've always had fun playing on the sef and tf servers. even when the game isnt taken seriously, its still not stoopid silly. i commend your always populated servers. gj.
